Something big is happening in Canada, and I've spent years preparing to meet these opportunities. This week, Canada launched its first Investment Summit with an ambition to catalyze $1 trillion in investment over the next five years.
Canada's making extraordinary commitments in AI infrastructure, energy, defence, transportation, industrial capacity and nation-building infrastructure and building a much closer economic, technology and security relationship with the European Union which, combined, approach 1/5 of global GDP.
We've committed to 100-years partnership with technologically advanced Ukraine. Together we'll build millions of drones over two years and share knowledge.
We reached these impressive goals by voting well and being trustworthy as a people and as a country.
I've spent years building toward exactly this kind of convergence.
My work combines AI, XR, simulation, visualization, software development and spatial design to make complex systems understandable, interactive and flexible as visualization and training tools, alongside AI predictive modelling and now, vision models for drones.
I'm building in aerospace and defence visualization, including complex Arctic defence drone, missle, navy and air force visualization, and a virtual Search & Rescue system using large teams of cooperative drones, which I'm now preparing to generate synthetic training-data.
I've won funding for and developed flood and fire prediction and visualization, including predictive modelling work that achieved approximately 95% accuracy in our Bangladesh flood model. I've built immersive professional training systems using AI instructors, interactive simulations and reusable existing training content.
And with TwinCore, I'm exploring how industrial facilities, infrastructure, equipment, logistics, feedstocks, environmental conditions and economic factors can be brought together as an interactive system-of-systems visualization and simulation testbed.
This isn't a sudden pivot into AI because AI is booming. Nor is XR new territory for me. I've been combining software, artificial intelligence, simulation, 3D visualization and immersive technology for years. To date I've written three e-learning portals.
Now Canada is investing at enormous scale in many of the same areas.
Complex systems are difficult to understand when they're buried in spreadsheets, datasets and diagrams. I build ways to see them, experience them, simulate them and learn from them.
I'm looking for ambitious projects, partnerships and organizations that need that combination of technical and creative capability.
Let's build some of Canada's next trillion dollars.
