SteamPunk Hockey v1.3.0 for iPhone, created by independent developer Kenneth Mayfield, is free to players for 24 hours as part of a promotion to increase the (legally paid) audience and get to know the community of steampunk iPhone/iPod touch players.

SteamPunk Hockey is a new direction for the venerated game. Featuring a luxurious brass and royal red finish, SteamPunk Hockey brings a new concept to the genre - obstacles to alter the playing characteristics of the game.

SteamPunk Hockey features automatic save of game state, 'one-touch' start-to-play, optional obstacles on or off, one and two-player modes, physics-based play, OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements, and a choice of paddle and disc sizes.

Kenneth Mayfield is a Canadian living in the Czech Republic, near the beautiful UNESCO heritage city of Prague.

Kenn has worked in interactive arts with scientists at the Geological Survey of Canada and the European Environmental Agency, and has developed e-learning and game interactives for private companies in Vancover. His hobbies include macro nature photography and video collection.

Kenn is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.
